Miracle Fruit

The miracle fruit plant (Synsepalum dulcificum) is a slow-growing, evergreen shrub native to West Africa, famous for producing small red berries that turn sour foods sweet. Growing 1.8–4.5 m tall (smaller in containers), it has dense foliage with narrow, glossy green leaves. The plant requires acidic soil, partial shade, and high humidity.
