Mahkota Dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa), or “God’s Crown,” is a small, evergreen, medicinal shrub native to Indonesia. It grows 3-18 meters tall, featuring dark green, glossy leaves and small, white, fragrant, trumpet-shaped flowers. The plant is prized for its bright red, round, poisonous fruits—used only in dried form for traditional medicine—which grow directly on the stem.
