Blackberry

Blackberry plants (Rubus fruticosus) are hardy, perennial shrubs belonging to the Rose family, recognized for their thorny, arching, or trailing stems known as canes. They produce compound leaves with 3-5 serrated leaflets, white or pink flowers, and edible, aggregate, dark purple-to-black berries that ripen from July through summer.
